Think about it Thursday

Do you used colored card stock for your base cards,
or do you always use white?
I do use different colors because sometime I just think
that brings more interest to your card.

I have seen that some crafters use just white or kraft...

  1. I usually use white but sometimes kraft or black or cream. Hobby Lobby carries heavyweight cardstock in those colors and I like the base to be nice and strong, so I usually stick with those colors :) Have a great day :)

  2. I like to use different colors but it seems lately I seem to be grabbing white, lol!
    Have a great evening!

  4. My white 110-lb cardstock is the base I use 99% of the time. I like that it's stronger than my other cardstock, although now that I think of it I do have some pastel-coloured in 110-lb so I should be using that more often. Thanks for reminding me!

  5. I always use colored card stock.... I think white is plain and cheap IMO... When I have used white I always make sure there is color CS layers.... Outside & inside....

  6. Mostly use white or Kraft but have used other colors. It is easier to write on white. Most times when I use other colors I'll attach the base to a white card or Kraft card.

  7. I usually use white for my card base. I add color card stock to the front for a base unless I want white to be the base for my card front.
